Admission applications are accepted April 1 for the fall/summer terms and October 1 for the spring term.  You need to apply for admission if you have never attended Cuesta College or are a former student who has been absent two or more semesters. 

 

Students wishing to enroll in special programs may have additional admission requirements.  Click on the following program links for more information:

§         Enrichment students:  Concurrently enroll in both high school and Cuesta College.

§         International students

§         Nursing students

§         Psychiatric Technician students

 

Applicants will receive an eWelcome and printed welcome letter within 7-10 working days.  Class Schedules will be mailed to residents outside San Luis Obispo County.  Schedules will be available to County residents at libraries and chambers of commerce.

 

SPRING 2005 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

§         Review the Apply and Register web site for information on steps to complete prior to registering such as submitting official transcripts, assessment testing, and orientation.

§         Login to PAWS and select Status Check to confirm your online registration date/time to register.  Access is determined by an alpha breakdown based on your last name.

§         Classes will be accessible online in the Class Finder beginning October 29.

§         Login to PAWS and select WEBReg to register online during your priority date/time.

  • New First-Time College Students and Re-Entry Students are encouraged to attend Great Start assessment, orientation, and registration dates. Apply first then sign up.

How to Use the Cuesta College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
